What APEDA does
APEDA is the government body that promotes and regulates export of agricultural and processed foods, including eggs and poultry. Registration with APEDA is the baseline that makes an exporter eligible to ship. See our certifications and compliance page.
APEDA, FSSAI and IEC together
Three things work together: the IEC code (Importer Exporter Code) authorises foreign trade, the FSSAI licence covers food-safety of handling and packing, and APEDA registration covers the export category. The veterinary health certificate is then issued per consignment on top.
What buyers can ask for
Serious buyers can request our registration details and specimen documents before contracting. The full set then ships with every consignment, as described in egg export documentation.
