APEDA

APEDA is the Indian government body that formally recognises an egg exporter as registered to trade.

In short: APEDA is India Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, which registers and supports exporters of products including eggs.

APEDA, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, is the body under India Ministry of Commerce and Industry responsible for promoting and regulating the export of scheduled agricultural and processed food products, poultry and eggs among them. Exporters register with APEDA to obtain the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) that establishes them as recognised exporters.

For a buyer, an exporter APEDA registration is a baseline credibility check: it signals the supplier is a formally recognised Indian exporter rather than an unverified trader, and it is often referenced in import and documentation processes. APEDA also publishes standards, market information and exporter directories that buyers can use for due diligence. We are APEDA-registered for poultry exports, and we can share our registration details with serious buyers on request, alongside our FSSAI licensing, HACCP food-safety plan and the veterinary health certification issued per consignment.
