HACCP

HACCP is the method that builds food safety into the process rather than inspecting for it at the end.

In short: HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a preventive food-safety system that identifies and controls risks at each production step.

HACCP, which stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, is an internationally recognised, preventive approach to food safety. Rather than relying only on end-product testing, it maps the production process, identifies where biological, chemical or physical hazards could arise, and sets critical control points with limits and monitoring to keep those hazards in check.

In an egg operation, HACCP principles are applied through grading, candling, crack detection, cold storage and packing, with records kept so each step is verifiable. The result is that problems are caught and controlled as they occur, not discovered after a shipment has sailed. For buyers, a HACCP-based system is a strong signal of a disciplined supplier, and it dovetails with FSSAI licensing on the Indian side and the veterinary health certification issued for each consignment. We operate a HACCP-based food-safety plan and can share details with buyers evaluating us.
